Rose Colored Life

Normally I’m all about accentuating my waist for the most flattering look, but with this beautiful dress (also available here – on sale!) I just felt like I had to ditch the belt/tie it came with and let it flow.

How cute is this pattern?! I felt like it went perfectly with my Rebecca Minkoff Geo Love purse. I also love the shape of the hem and the subtle striped details – can you spot them?

I’ve never bought anything from this brand before, but that’s mainly due to the price point. When I saw it was on sale for a mere $30 I decided to give it a shot. I’m so glad I did! I don’t know that it’s worth the full price of $198 though. The fabric, although nice, doesn’t seem to be anything special. BTW I spotted this top from the same brand the other day and it is still on my mind…

I love how feminine this dress is and that it didn’t need to be hemmed – hallelujah! I used to think built in half slips were a way for the manufacturer to save money/be cheap, but I now appreciate having less material. It’s a lot cooler that way and cuts down on the bulk. Plus, since this dress is not see through, no one would know anyway.

Sadly my shoes broke right after shooting these pics. I was SO sad as this is the best pair  of “nicer” low wedges I’ve ever found and I haven’t seen anything all that similar. However, I do think thesethesethese, these, and these are great options.

I’ve already taken this dress for a few spins and it looks just as cute with a belt. I recently snagged a trio of belts in classic colors from Nordies and I’m stoked! How cute is this one?

I feel like the best version of myself in floating, girlie dresses. What type of look makes you feel your best?

Have a stellar day y’all! Much love, Kate

    1. Thanks for the support! I still wear it belted about half the time. It just depends…usually on how much I plan to eat! Thanks so much for stopping by and for the lovely comment.

      Much love! Kate
