Hello my lovelies! I hope you’re hanging in there as the world slowly starts to open up. We still have a long way to go, but I am now fully vaccinated and it feels so good to see some kind of progress happening. I’m feeling tentatively hopeful – how about you?
On another note, I was hoping for a little help from y’all as the libra in me is causing a lot of indecision. Finding a fab dress and wanting it in all the available colors is such a Kate thing to do lol, but I do not really need 3 basically identical dresses (even though they were all on super sale when I grabbed them).
That’s where you come in. I already asked the hubs and he said he liked the gold – not really a surprise, but between the short length and the attention grabbing color I’m thinking it might be a little too sexy for this almost 40 year old:
On the opposite end of the spectrum, the blue might be a little too dowdy as it lacks the slit that was shown online and my tailor suggested I not add a slit or it could ruin the way the dress hangs (sigh). *For the record when I look in the mirror it doesn’t look quite so long as it does in this pic. Weird*
Last we have the green version. I think it might be my favorite, but I’m still on the fence. I knew the blue would be different from the other two as it’s a midi and not a mini, but I was pretty surprised to see how much the green and gold versions varied as they were supposed to be the same dress. Even the sleeves are noticeably different lengths:
You might be wondering where I plan to wear the dress(es). Well, again – in typical Kate style – I have no specific occasion in mind, but when I fall in love with a dress there’s really no stopping me. And one day the perfect opportunity will arise and I’ll be ready. Tee hee
