Hey ya’ll! Remember me?
Well, somehow it’s been over a month since my last post – even though I took these photos back in March. Yep, March! While no one is likely wearing OTK boots right now (seeing as how it’s already Memorial Day weekend) I felt the need to create a new post, so here we are. I just wanted to feel like I was doing something.
FYI I actually dyed my hair using an at-home box of color before the lockdown began as I just needed a change, I guess I always have been ahead of the curve
I’ve had a pretty hard time getting motivated to do much of anything for the last few months. This is such a weird time; when we first got the shelter in place order I really only wanted to sit around and watch TV/YouTube/Netflix. Thankfully I’m feeling more energetic at this point – and as I do more I feel even more energetic. I’m even starting to wear “real” clothes and even a little makeup! And by “real” clothes I mean the comfiest ones possible: bike shorts, tees, leggings, and easy summer dresses.
There are some seriously great deals to be had right now and I need to stock up on some warmer weather exercise wear so don’t be surprised if my next few posts are all workout/lounge gear. Maybe I’ll even get around to doing some before the fall!
Due to my lagging this skirt is just about sold out online at this point, but I did spy it in limited sizes here. This skirt is a total winner in my book!! So far I’ve worn it in (SoCal) winter with this sweater and tights, with this tank (H&M cotton jersey tank top), and with this tee. Cuz it’s awesome! It’s just long enough for this 30+ lady, a cute pattern, and easy to wear. ‘Nuff said.
I feel more productive already! I think I’ll capitalize on this moment to get outside and do some yard work. Our little garden is really coming along – we were able to harvest our first boysenberries this week. It was a huge deal around here! Here’s to still being healthy and enjoying the little things.
